The Board of Directors of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) today announced a major leadership transition as the company marks the successful completion of the amalgamation of Telenor Pakistan into Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML), operating as Ufone 5G.

The Board of Directors appointed Nadeem Khan, previously working as Group Chief Financial Officer of PTCL and Ufone, as CEO of PTCL, effective immediately for a period of 14 days.

Nadeem Khan is a Chartered Accountant with over two decades of association with the PTCL Group. His prominent career milestones within the group include:

• 2003: Joined Ufone as Chief Financial Officer, a role he successfully held for a decade.
• Interim: Served a strategic stint on the Board of U Microfinance Bank Limited.
• 2017: Appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer for the PTCL Group, overseeing financial strategy through major transformations, including the recent Telenor Pakistan acquisition.
• Present: Continues to serve as an active Member of the Accounting Standards Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
