Shield Corporation voluntary delisting PSX July 2026

Shield Corporation Limited, long known for baby care and oral hygiene products, will leave the Pakistan Stock Exchange next week.

The exchange confirmed on Thursday that voluntary delisting takes effect from July 27, 2026.

Final Exit Route for Minority Holders

Any remaining public shareholders can still tender their shares.

Sponsors will purchase them at the agreed price of Rs750 through Arif Habib Limited.

Extended Offer Period

Although the main buyback window closed on July 16, the undertaking remains valid until July 16, 2027.

This gives late holders additional time to exit.

Operational Context of the Decision

The company had already stopped diaper manufacturing in 2025 after reviewing performance and market outlook.

It continues production of feeders, nipples, soothers, teethers, toothbrushes, toothpastes and related toiletries.

Management argued that low share liquidity, successive losses and the absence of dividends since 2021 made continued listing costly and of limited benefit.

Delisting is expected to simplify governance and free resources for the core business.

What Happens Next

Trading in Shield shares will cease after the close of business before the delisting date.

The company will then operate fully under private ownership, primarily controlled by the sponsoring group linked to PharmEvo.

Shareholders are advised to contact the purchase agent promptly if they wish to sell.

The address is the second floor of Arif Habib Centre on M.T. Khan Road in Karachi.

Phone inquiries can be made at 021-111-245-111.

PSX completed the regulatory process after the sponsors accepted the minimum buyback price set earlier by the Voluntary Delisting Committee and after shareholders approved the necessary resolutions.

The notice was issued under the exchange’s voluntary delisting rules and relevant provisions of the Securities Act.

Shield’s journey as a listed entity that began in the mid-1970s now draws to a close, leaving the firm to focus exclusively on its manufacturing and distribution network across Pakistan and export markets.
