IMC Conducts Annual National Flag Collection Drive In Karachi.

The employees of Indus Motor Company Limited (IMC) conducted the National Flag Collection Drive to collect national flags and buntings left behind in public spaces following the Independence Day celebrations.
The employee volunteers covered major routes and areas across the city, including Steel Town, Surjani Town, Orangi Town, Maripur, Super Highway, and Airmen Club Road. The recovered flags and buntings were subsequently brought to the IMC premises in accordance with the company’s established disposal and preservation process.
Speaking on the occasion, Ali Asghar Jamali, Chief Executive Officer of Indus Motor Company Limited, said:
“Toyota has grown with Pakistan and our pride in this country goes far beyond the vehicles we manufacture. The national flag represents the country we serve, the people we work alongside, and the future we are invested in. Respecting its dignity is a simple responsibility, but an important one, and I am proud to see our employees take ownership of it.”
The National Flag Collection Drive is conducted under IMC’s Employee Volunteering Program and its broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) platform, Concern Beyond Cars. It has become an annual employee-led tradition at IMC, bringing together volunteers each year after the August 14 celebrations to retrieve flags and buntings from roads, pavements, and other public areas.
