JazzWorld Partners With Google For Digital Pasban Online Safety Initiative.

JazzWorld, Pakistan’s leading digital ecosystem, has partnered with Google as part of Digital Pasban, a national online safety initiative aimed at helping Pakistani families navigate the digital world with greater confidence, awareness, and practical tools.

The initiative has been launched by Google with Tech Valley as a key operational partner. Digital Pasban seeks to reach 200,000 households nationwide through localized Urdu-language safety resources, instructional videos, parental toolkits, school-based safety clinics, and community outreach. The initiative brings together JazzWorld, Google, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Tech Valley, Beaconhouse School System, and HUM Network, with support from relevant federal ministries, to promote safer and more responsible digital participation among Pakistani families.

Through the partnership, JazzWorld will support efforts to promote greater awareness around responsible and safe digital participation, helping families better understand both the opportunities and risks associated with increased digital access.

Core Pillars and Community Outreach

Digital Pasban is structured around four fundamental pillars designed to foster safe digital environments:

• Google Family Link: Enables parents to manage screen time, set app approvals, implement content filters, and track device location.
• YouTube Safety Controls: Provides tailored, age-appropriate content settings and time-management features for younger viewers.
• Be Internet Awesome: Teaches children aged 7–12 essential digital citizenship skills through interactive games and structured learning.
• Gemini AI Safeguards: Promotes responsible artificial intelligence usage through minor safeguards and guided learning features.

The program will execute community-level engagement via broadcast media, targeted SMS alerts, social media campaigns, and school-based town halls. Central to the execution are interactive parent and guardian safety clinics, where families can directly practice identifying and mitigating online risks.

Digital Pasban expands upon Google’s broader digital education programs in Pakistan, including the Digital Safar initiative which has trained over 300,000 students and 5,000 educators and a joint Punjab education partnership reaching 1.5 million students through Google for Education tools.
