Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has issued a Risk Warning Alert (RWA) against Dadabhoy Cement Industries Limited (DBCI) over the company’s failure to pay an outstanding penalty imposed under the PSX Regulations.
According to a PSX notice issued on September 17, 2026, DBCI has been given until October 19, 2026, to rectify its non-compliance by paying the outstanding dues to the exchange.
PSX had previously notified the issuance of an RWA against DBCI on July 20, 2026, following the company’s failure to comply with the penalty imposed under Clause 5.21.1 of the PSX Regulations.
The exchange warned that if DBCI fails to resolve the non-compliance within the stipulated deadline, PSX may initiate further enforcement action under Clause 5.11.3.(e), which includes the issuance of a compulsory buy-back direction to major shareholders/sponsors of DBCI.
PSX further clarified that even if DBCI resolves the current non-compliance related to the outstanding dues, the company will remain quoted in the Non-Compliant Segment due to another outstanding non-compliance under Regulation 5.11.1.(a), until all non-compliances are rectified.
The development puts further regulatory pressure on Dadabhoy Cement, with October 19, 2026 now serving as the key compliance deadline.
