Market Relief: Gold prices saw a historic single-day drop of Rs 21,400, settling at Rs 507,762 per tola on February 6.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) reported a substantial decrease in bullion rates, attributed largely to a $214 drop in international gold prices, which reached $4,850 per ounce.

  • 24-Karat Gold (Per Tola): Decreased by Rs 21,400 to settle at Rs 507,762.
  • 24-Karat Gold (10 Grams): Fell by Rs 18,347 to reach Rs 435,324.
  • 22-Karat Gold (10 Grams): Dropped by Rs 16,819, settling at Rs 399,061.

Silver Market Update

The price of silver also mirrored this downward trend:

  • Silver (Per Tola): Decreased by Rs 1,430 to reach Rs 7,825.
  • Silver (10 Grams): Declined by Rs 1,226 to settle at Rs 6,708.
