The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has officially released its audited annual financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Demonstrating robust financial performance, the central bank posted a net profit of Rs 1,990 billion for FY2025–26, transferring a surplus profit of Rs 1,932 billion to the Federal Government after statutory appropriations.The report has been formally transmitted to the Federal Government and the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) in line with Section 40(3) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has published its comprehensive annual financial statements along with the independent auditors’ report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. In compliance with Section 40(3) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956, the documents have also been submitted to the Federal Government and the Parliament (Majlis-e-Shoora).

During the 2025–26 financial year, the central bank recorded a stellar financial performance, generating a net profit of Rs 1,990 billion. Following necessary accounting framework adjustments and statutory reserves, a massive surplus profit of Rs 1,932 billion was remitted to the national exchequer to support fiscal consolidation.
