The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced a temporary trading suspension for selected Government of Pakistan (GoP) Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) ahead of upcoming rental payments due to eligible investors on September 30, 2026. Issued via a notice on September 15, 2026, the suspension applies to both Fixed Rental Rate (FRR) and Variable Rental Rate (VRR) instruments issued during the September 30, 2025 primary market auction.Trading activities will remain suspended from September 25 to September 29, 2026, while a shut period for the movement of securities in CDC Sub Accounts and Investor Accounts will take effect from September 28 to September 29, 2026. The affected securities include the 3-year FRR Sukuk (P03FRR300928), 5-year FRR Sukuk (P05FRR300930), and 10-year VRR Sukuk (P10VRR300935). Standard trading and account operations will resume immediately following the completion of the rental payout process.

Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has announced a temporary suspension of trading in selected GoP Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) ahead of the rental payment due to eligible investors on September 30, 2026.

According to a PSX notice issued on September 15, the rental payment relates to both Fixed Rental Rate (FRR) and Variable Rental Rate (VRR) GoP Ijarah Sukuk issued through the primary market auction dated September 30, 2025.

Trading activities in the relevant GIS at PSX will remain suspended from September 25 to September 29, 2026.

During the same period, the movement of securities in CDC Sub Accounts and Investor Accounts will observe a shut period from September 28 to September 29, 2026.

The affected securities include the 3-year Fixed Rental Rate Sukuk (P03FRR300928), 5-year Fixed Rental Rate Sukuk (P05FRR300930) and 10-year Variable Rental Rate Sukuk (P10VRR300935), with respective maturity dates of September 30, 2028, September 30, 2030 and September 30, 2035.

The trading and account restrictions will be lifted according to the announced schedule following completion of the rental payment process.
