Global financial technology company Payoneer has renewed its strategic partnership with Etsy, extending their cross-border payout agreement through 2029 to support sellers across 16 markets in Asia, Europe, South America, and the Middle East. Building on an initial collaboration launched in 2023, the renewed three-year arrangement enables tens of thousands of eligible small business vendors to receive earnings in US dollars, withdraw funds directly to local bank accounts, and manage capital across more than 70 currencies. Executives including Payoneer Senior Vice President Ya Wen and Etsy Senior Director of Product Megan Oxman emphasized that the infrastructure helps mitigate multi-currency friction and regulatory complexities for cross-border merchants. By streamlining international payment operations, the partnership continues to scale digital trade access for independent creators operating in diverse regional economies.

KARACHI — September 30, 2026: Global financial technology company Payoneer has renewed its strategic partnership with Etsy, extending their payout relationship through 2029 and continuing to support sellers across 16 markets in Asia, Europe, South America and the Middle East.

The three-year renewal builds on the partnership launched in 2023, through which Payoneer and Etsy have enabled tens of thousands of sellers to receive cross-border payouts and manage their businesses in international markets.

Under the renewed agreement, Payoneer will continue serving as a strategic payments partner for eligible Etsy sellers in the 16 markets. The partnership is aimed at making it easier for small businesses to receive and manage earnings from customers in different countries.

For sellers operating in markets where currency and economic conditions can change rapidly, access to international customers and reliable cross-border payment infrastructure can be particularly important.

Maksym Gopanchuk, founder of Ukraine-based KGUmusic and MG Leather Work, said international marketplaces and payment infrastructure help his businesses serve customers across multiple countries.

“Etsy helps our brands reach customers across different countries, while Payoneer provides the payment infrastructure that makes our international sales possible,” he said.

Ya Wen, Senior Vice President of Global Marketplaces at Payoneer, said small businesses are increasingly operating across borders, currencies and markets, making financial infrastructure an important part of their international growth.

“Our continued partnership with Etsy reflects a shared commitment to help marketplaces solve these cross-border challenges at scale,” Wen said.

Megan Oxman, Senior Director of Product at Etsy, said Payoneer has supported Etsy sellers across markets with different operational and regulatory environments.

Under the partnership, eligible Etsy sellers using Payoneer can receive earnings in US dollars, withdraw funds directly to local bank accounts and manage funds across more than 70 currencies.

The companies said these capabilities provide sellers with greater flexibility in managing international earnings while helping reduce some of the friction and costs associated with cross-border payments.
