Tasdeeq IPO fully subscribed 2 seconds PSX credit bureau

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Tasdeeq Information Services Limited achieved a historic capital market milestone on Wednesday, as its book-building portion was fully subscribed within just two seconds of opening on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The rapid subscription was propelled by demand from institutional investors, foreign funds, and high-net-worth individuals, marking one of the fastest book-building subscriptions in the exchange’s history.

Book-Building Structure and Timeline

Despite reaching full subscription immediately upon launch, the official two-day book-building bidding window remains open until 5:00 PM on August 6, 2026, allowing eligible investors to continue placing and revising bids to establish the final strike price:

  • Total Issue Size: 150,000,000 ordinary shares (par value Rs 1 per share).
  • Book-Building Portion: 75 percent of the issue size (112,500,000 shares) offered at a floor price of Rs 1.90 per share, with an upper price band of up to Rs 3.00 per share.
  • General Public Portion: The remaining 25 percent (37,500,000 shares) will be made available during the retail public subscription phase, scheduled for August 11–12, 2026.

Topline Securities Limited is acting as the lead manager and consultant to the issue.

South Asia’s First Listed Credit Bureau

Licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Tasdeeq operates as the country’s first private credit bureau and is on track to become South Asia’s first publicly listed credit bureau.

The entity operates within a regulated market structure where commercial banks, microfinance institutions, and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) are legally required to pull comprehensive credit evaluation reports prior to issuing consumer or corporate loans.

Proceeds raised from the listing are slated to support technological upgrades, expand data analytics capabilities, and strengthen the company’s core infrastructure as credit demand scales across Pakistan.
