Lucky Core Industries AGM dividend 2026
✧ GENERATE BRIEFING

Lucky Core Industries approved a 262.5% dividend of PKR 5.25 per share at its 75th AGM, adopted FY26 accounts, reappointed auditors, and ratified related-party deals. Lucky Core Industries Limited (LCI) concluded its 75th Annual General Meeting (AGM), where shareholders formally approved a final cash dividend of 262.5% (PKR 5.25 per ordinary share of PKR 2) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. During the meeting, members adopted the audited financial statements, noting a consolidated net turnover of PKR 113.38 billion and a profit after tax of PKR 9.75 billion. Shareholders also reappointed A.F. Ferguson & Co. as external auditors for the coming year and ratified related-party transactions totaling PKR 66.48 billion conducted with group entities including Lucky Cement, Lucky Motors, and Yunus Textile Mills while granting advance authority for ongoing commercial dealings through FY2027.

Lucky Core Industries Limited wrapped up its 75th Annual General Meeting on 25 September 2026. Shareholders cleared the usual annual items and also gave the board room to keep doing business with group companies.

The tone of the meeting was straightforward. Accounts were adopted. A large cash dividend was locked in. Auditors were kept on. Related-party dealings were ratified and pre-approved for the year ahead.

Accounts For The Year Adopted

Members received, considered and adopted the audited financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2026.

The directors’ report and the auditors’ report were taken as part of the same resolution. No extra conditions were attached in the certified copy sent to the exchange.

Cash Dividend Of PKR 5.25 A Share

The company declared a dividend of 262.5 percent.

That works out to PKR 5.25 on every ordinary share of PKR 2. Payment goes to members whose names appeared on the register on 18 September 2026.

For a PKR 2 par value stock, that is a sizable cash return. The board had already recommended the figure, and the AGM simply confirmed it.

Auditors Kept For The Next Year

A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, were appointed for the year ending 30 June 2027.

Their fee is PKR 13,524,000 plus applicable taxes. Out-of-pocket costs will be reimbursed at actuals. Continuity of the audit firm is the clear message.

Related Party Deals Ratified And Pre-Approved

Shareholders ratified related-party transactions of PKR 66.48 billion for the year ended 30 June 2026.

They also authorised the company to keep buying and selling goods, materials and services with group entities in the year to 30 June 2027. The list includes Lucky Cement, Yunus Textile Mills, Gadoon Textile Mills, Lucky Motors, Lucky Investments and several other Tabba-linked names.

Members noted that some or most directors may be interested in those deals. They still gave the board advance authority under Sections 207 and 208 of the Companies Act, 2017 to review and approve transactions within limits the board itself sets.

Those FY27 dealings will come back to the next annual meeting for formal ratification.

The certified resolutions have been filed so market participants can take note.
