Sazgar Engineering announces plans to introduce BAIC's premium ARCFOX electric vehicles in Pakistan, expanding its growing new-energy vehicle portfolio. Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW) has formally announced plans to introduce ARCFOX the premium New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand under China’s BAIC Group into the Pakistani market. Disclosed via a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the move builds upon Sazgar’s robust financial performance and expanding footprint in hybrid and electric mobility. ARCFOX is positioned as a high-end, intelligent EV line featuring advanced design and engineering collaborations with global tech and automotive leaders Magna and Huawei. While specific launch timelines, pricing structures, local manufacturing investments, or exact model line-ups have not yet been disclosed, the addition of ARCFOX diversifies Sazgar’s existing portfolio which already features GWM-Haval hybrids and ORA electric vehicles marking a strategic push into premium technology-focused electric mobility in Pakistan.
Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW) plans to introduce ARCFOX New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) in Pakistan, expanding its presence in the country’s growing electric and new-energy vehicle market.
The company disclosed the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), saying the move would further expand its existing NEV portfolio.
ARCFOX is the premium electric vehicle brand of China’s BAIC Group, positioned around high-end design, technology and intelligent mobility. Sazgar said the brand has engineering and technology collaborations involving Magna and Huawei.
The announcement adds another electric-vehicle brand to Sazgar’s portfolio. The company already has experience in Pakistan’s four-wheeler market through BAIC and has expanded its new-energy vehicle operations through HAVAL hybrid vehicles.
Sazgar introduced a BAIC-branded four-wheeler in Pakistan in 2022 and subsequently entered local SUV production. It also launched the locally assembled HAVAL H6 1.5L plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in August 2025.
The company has not yet disclosed the official launch date, prices, investment amount or local assembly plans for ARCFOX vehicles. It has also not officially specified which ARCFOX models will be introduced in Pakistan.
However, recent industry reports have identified potential initial models from the brand’s global lineup—such as advanced crossovers or sedans incorporating Huawei smart-cockpit technologies—though these specifics remain unconfirmed in official regulatory filings.
The planned expansion comes as Pakistan’s automotive market sees increasing competition from Chinese electric and hybrid vehicle manufacturers. For Sazgar, adding ARCFOX could broaden its offering from mainstream SUVs and hybrids into a more premium, technology-focused EV segment.
